Puffin Produce - Root Zero Corporate Photoshoot

We had the pleasure of working with Puffin Produce, one of Wales’ leading suppliers of fresh, local vegetables, on an exciting on-location photoshoot. The focus of this shoot was to document the sustainable farming practices behind the launch of their new brand, Root Zero - a line of sustainably grown, carbon-neutral potatoes. Through our photography, we aimed to capture the essence of their sustainable processes, from the dedicated growers to the lush potato fields and the innovative wildflower meadows that help regenerate the soil.

Puffin Produce has built a reputation for delivering quality produce grown in the rich soils of Pembrokeshire. Root Zero, their new brand, takes this commitment to the next level by focusing on sustainability. As the UK’s first carbon-neutral potato brand, Root Zero is dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of farming while providing consumers with fresh, delicious potatoes grown with care for the planet.

Our photoshoot took us straight to the fields, where we had the opportunity to document the process. The images captured the dedication of Puffin Produce's growers, whose expertise and passion for sustainable farming practices are the driving forces behind both Puffin Produce and Root Zero. 

We focused on photographing the growers at work - planting, tending, and preparing the potatoes - showcasing their connection to the land and their commitment to sustainability. These authentic, behind-the-scenes moments help bring the story of Root Zero to life, highlighting the human touch behind each crop.

Sustainability is at the heart of Root Zero, and part of this commitment is Puffin Produce's innovative use of wildflower meadows. After growing a crop for a year, Puffin Produce plants wildflowers in the fields to naturally replenish the soil with nutrients. These vibrant meadows not only add biodiversity to the farmland but also help the soil recover, creating healthier, more sustainable growing conditions for future crops.

Our photos captured the beauty of these wildflower meadows in full bloom, standing as a testament to Puffin Produce’s forward-thinking approach to sustainable farming. By documenting these efforts, we were able to visually communicate the brand’s values - responsible farming, respect for nature, and a commitment to reducing environmental impact.
